CLICK BISHOP
Click Bishop has spent his life working for Alaska and the people who call it home. Born in Mexico, Missouri, Click first came to Alaska as a toddler. Click has called Alaska home for 66 years, working across the Interior, Southeast, Yukon Delta, and Northern Region as a placer miner, labor leader, and public servant.
A graduate of Lathrop High School, he built a career rooted in hard work and service, leading Alaska’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development as Commissioner (2007–2012) and serving as State Senator from 2013 to 2024, where he co-chaired the Senate Finance Committee and championed energy, education, workforce development, resource industries, and local communities.

A husband, father, and grandfather, Click is married to Darlene and has two daughters, Lori and Lisa, and four grandchildren: Taylor, Kadence, Basil, and Evan. An avid outdoorsman and two-time Yukon 800 riverboat race winner, Click knows the value of grit, self-reliance, and building opportunities for the next generation. Now, he’s running for Governor to put Alaska back to work and ensure a stronger future for all Alaskans.
